Master Marvin S. German Jr. Sifu German is the Master instructor at FSA Martial Arts Health & Fitness Center and the Director of Martial arts at Syosset SPORTIME Health & Racquet Ball Health Club. He is a Master in Bo Fung Do Kung Fu, a 4th degree Black Belt Kiat Kung fu, a Third degree Black Belt in Dan Zan Ryu Jujitsu , a First degree Black Belt in Judo, a Certified Law enforcement trainer, Executive protector, self defense Judge and Tai Chi / Qi gong instructor, with over forty years of competitive and training experience. Master His passion for improving physical fitness, mental discipline, and spiritual strength is apparent in every class he teaches. Sifu German positive influence has enabled him to reach children and adults and lead them to Black Belt.
Master German has studied under Grandmaster's Hy Nuquen, Phil Messina, Lin Chi-Young, Wally Jay, Remy Pemas, and George Dillman. He also studied under Master's Yang Ming Jwing, Bob Klien, Tom Burrel and Tianyou Hao. Master German is the former fitness director of SPORTIME HEALTH CLUB. He has completed 2 years as an interned at Hofstra University in the studies of sports medicine and has studied extensively with several physical therapists such as Gary Gray, Brian Mulligan, and Dr. Sandy Burkart, P.T. Master German also has is privately mentored by Juan Carlos Santana, one of the leaders of performance training. In addition, Master German holds several certifications in performance training, which he utilizes his experiences to develop athletic programs to help injured athletes returning to the field. Furthermore, he has been featured on Channel 5, PBS Channels 20, 115 and News Channel 12, demonstrating Martial Arts, Performance and Functional Training. For the past 20 years Master German is the Assistant Coach/Head Trainer for the New York Athletic Club A Lacrosse Team. Sifu German has been involved with martial arts his entire life. At the age of six he was taught the fundamentals of Kung fu at the Bronx Community Center to earn his first Black Belt. In the year of 1994 he started to train at Modern Warrior and earned the rank of Master while becoming a certified law enforcement trainer. In the year of 2005 Master German tested and earned the rank of Third degree Black Belt in Dan Zan Ryu Jujitsu and a First degree Black belt in Judo.
He believes in a principled approach to martial arts, that includes the development of personal character as well as physical strength. His focus on leadership, self-control, respect, confidence, righteousness, discipline, and vision has made him one of the most sought after martial arts instructors in Long Island.

I focus all of my training skills on my client’s goals, needs, and abilities. By helping my clients improve their strength gains, muscle size, balance, flexibility, cardiovascular health, etc. I feel satisfied knowing that I have helped make a positive changes in someone else’s lifestyle. So if you’re looking to change your lifestyle, get in shape, or looking for a mentor who can inspire you without judgment, I’m your trainer. We all have our opinions, but I always try to be respectful to others and accept people for who they are.
I am not going to say it will be easy; because it Isn’t Easy Being Fit. I believe as long as you want it for yourself, you can make it happen. Remember, fit bodies’ comes in all shapes and sizes. You don’t have to be a size 2 to be fit. You can be “Thick & Fit” too.

Remember, fitness is a way of life and fitness keeps you young. It takes hard work, dedication, commitment, energy, self respect, and self motivation to achieve certain physical goals. If you want to be fit, you will be fit. Just remember, unless you have a physical illness/disability, no one is stopping you but yourself. You can do it! You can be “Fit for Life!”
